Hourly Rate: $16.837**
**Reporting to the Manager, Pharmacy Services, the Pharmacy Technician Student is responsible for working collaboratively with pharmacy technicians and pharmacists in the inpatient pharmacy department. The Pharmacy Technician Student provides services within the context of the hospital's mission, goals, and objectives.**

**Qualifications**:

**Education/Experience**:

- **Enrolled as a student with CCAPP (The Canadian Council For Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs) accredited Canadian Pharmacy Technician Program**:

- **Knowledge of inpatient pharmacy dispensing processes**:

- **Knowledge of pharmacy automation including experience with unit dose packaging and automated dispensing cabinets preferred**:

- **Knowledge of medication reconciliation practices preferred**

- **Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both orally and in writing**:

- **Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, co-workers, SJCG staff**:

- **Must maintain pre-registration with Ontario College of Pharmacists and be enrolled in CCAPP approved Canadian Pharmacy Technician Program**
