**Job Title: Full Time Visual Associate**

**Reports to**:Store General Manager**

To provide in-depth knowledge and experience in the area of golf merchandise. Ensure sales and customer service is the department priority. Make sure customer’s questions are answered professionally and suitably, and ensure they leave the store with appropriate equipment for their needs. Maximize sales by finding the right products, providing creative solutions to each customer using a win-win approach, removing barriers so as to ensure exceptional service and an enhanced golf experience for each and every customer. As Visual Associate you will be involved in all merchandising design aspects and you will work with the store management team in reviewing department trends and sales results to make the most successful merchandising decisions for the store.

**Description of Job Responsibilities**:
**Customer Service**:

- Provide customers with highest level of customer service, emphasizing courteous and knowledgeable assistance to each and every customer.
- Demonstrate the ability to listen to and solve customer issues.
- Understand and be knowledgeable of how to handle customer complaints.
- Be familiar with Company Customer Service policies.
- Answer department phones courteously within three rings.
- Address asset protection issues that may occur in the department in a manner that there is neither a loss to the company nor an uncontrollable situation with the customer.

**Sales**:

- Sell merchandise at company established prices and ensure discrepancies are addressed and authorized accordingly.
- Be familiar with golf apparel and accessories and suggestive selling of these essential items.
- Possess golf product knowledge and be familiar with the product knowledge materials and vendor product lines.
- Be knowledgeable of merchandise on the floor as well as in the backroom, including verification of the current selling price.
- Keep current on all new product information.
- Be familiar with the daily advertising and promotions to accurately inform the customer.
- Communicate to store management any missed opportunities in sales due to product.

**Visual and Merchandise Presentation**:

- Create displays on the sales floor to attract the attention of customers. The goal is to create displays which WOW the customer and encourage total solution purchasing decisions to raise average transaction values.
- Ensure all visual elements are displayed to reflect current merchandise standards and market trends.
- Identify and implement visual presentation issues, promotions and events. Work with the Manager, Soft lines to understand and incorporate upcoming campaigns with visual presentations.
- Support the set-up of all promotional events and seasonal change-overs including shop in shops.
- Continuous learning of new and innovative merchandising strategies.
- Provide coaching and training to in-store associates to ensure standards are maintained

**Essential Requirements and Qualifications**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate effectively and professionally with store teams and leadership.
- Well versed in using Microsoft Excel, Word, Power point, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines and exceptional time-management skills
- Ability to reach, climb, bend over and lift to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Collaborative work style & able to work with large cross functional groups
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, evenings and weekends
- A flair for fashion and a passion for retail with a strong understanding of the game of golf are all musts.
