Do you have experience compiling and analyzing data to support the optimization of service delivery?

If so, consider joining the Career Development Bureau within the Ontario Provincial Police, Ministry of the Solicitor General. Working within a dynamic team, you will support the delivery of HR services, activities, programs, projects, including administrating HR processes and conducting data research.

Current vacancies exist in the Talent Services and Workforce Analytics team (18 months) and the Workplace Safety and Claims Administration team (4 Permanent).

**What can I expect to do in this role?**:

- Provide research and analytical support to the Unit, utilizing applicable databases and systems within the OPS and OPP, to support programs and decision-making processes.
- Assist in the design and preparation of project plans, tracking and monitoring project deliverables, and review/report on statistical information.
- Conduct trend analyses of program data to keep management apprised of issues and patterns in program activity.
- Provide information management services and analysis to support the Unit.
- Develop and maintain databases and systems (Access, WIN, Forte, IHRIS, etc.), distribution lists, electronic files and automated correspondence/project tracking systems, ensuring accuracy and security of data and proper tracking of unit activities.

**How do I qualify?**:
**Mandatory**:

- Ability to pass an OPP background/ security investigation.

**Data Analysis Expertise**:

- You can gather and synthesize data and identify trends for programs and processes.
- You can proactively identify issues and make appropriate recommendations, support program evaluation and conduct research.
- You know data management concepts to maintain data integrity, efficiency, and security.
- You know and can use the Microsoft Suite of products (including Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio).
- You have experience with HR information systems and databases to access and analyze data.
- You can gather and compile data for HR programs and initiatives, and prepare various reports and responses to requests.

**Organization and Planning Skills**:

- You have demonstrated planning and coordinating skills to provide support for projects and initiatives.
- You can assist in the design and preparation of project plans, tracking and monitoring project deliverables, reviewing and reporting on statistical information, and responding to inquires.
- You have demonstrated organizational skills to prioritize concurrent responsibilities.

**Interpersonal and Communication Skills**:

- You can work with various staff members and management and provide input on processes
- You can develop a variety of reports and communications, and respond to inquiries.
