**Overview**:
Spero Law seeks to welcome an experienced and detail-oriented lawyer into our general solicitor practice. As an associate lawyer, you will work on a wide variety of interesting solicitor work, including corporate transactions, commercial leases, commercial and residential real estate transactions, advising not-for-profit and charitable agencies, contract drafting, estate planning, and estate administration. Mentorship in all areas of law will be provided through close collaboration with a supervising lawyer.

**Duties**:

- Assist business clients with various corporate needs including incorporation, corporate transactions, shareholders agreements, real estate transactions and/or dissolution.
- Complete commercial and residential real estate transactions.
- Draft, review, and provide legal advice on various contracts, including independent contractor agreements, commercial leases, personal guarantees, agency agreements, and shareholder agreements.
- Conduct legal research as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's of Law (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law by the Law Society of Ontario
- Superior writing skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook and/or Microsoft 365
- Resourceful and professional with strong problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional client management, including verbal and written communications
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Pay: $75,000.00-$82,000.00 per year
