**RAGLAN MINE**

**FLIGHT REGULATOR (1 PERMANENT POSITION)**

**Service: Surface Services and Maintenance**

**Location: Raglan Mine Site**

**Reference number: REQ23-107**

Reporting to the Supervisor - Surface and Airport Services, you will be responsible for the coordination of all activities related to the airport's operations and Safety Management System (SMS). Your primary duties will be:

- Observe and communicate local weather conditions to crews, in addition to the METAR format.
- Evaluate and communicate runway conditions and braking index, which you will be required to measure.
- Implement the airport's Safety Management System (SMS) processes.
- Perform preliminary weight and balance calculations for our Boeing 737 flights.
- Manage and secure the movement of all vehicles on the runway and taxiways.
- Manage the inventory of Jet-A1 fuel, de-icing products and any other item required for operations.

Your profile:

- Diploma of Vocational Studies in flight control and or a university certificate in air transport management would be an asset. An experience in similar tasks will be considered.
- Significant experience in flight control.
- Radiotelephone operator certificate.
- Leadership, sense of planning and organization of work, thoroughness, rigor.
- Teamwork and customer service skills, tact, and critical thinking.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Valid driver's license.
- Functional knowledge of French and English.

- Work shifts of 11 hours per day.
- Rotation schedule of 2/2: equivalent to 2 consecutive weeks of work followed by 2 weeks of leave.
- Private air transport is provided from Montreal, Quebec, Rouyn-Noranda, Mont-Joli or Inuit communities (depending on place of residence) to the mine site and return.
