**NKPR **is looking for an experienced **Digital Content Creator **to join our Toronto team and support with strong copywriting and content creation for NKPR’s digital channels. The Social Media Specialist will be a creative thinker that can turn concepts into compelling content in tandem with PR teams to meet our overall marketing objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Build content calendars and write copy for social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin, website, blog, newsletters, etc)
- Create various forms of social media content— text captions, videos, and images—suitable for the various social media platforms
- Post content and manage engagement, including comments, messages and mentions on social media platforms
- Ensure the growth of social media channels and development of an engaged online audience
- Manage social media and newsletter campaigns, paid programs, strategic partnerships, and promotions Proactively research, recommend and, execute new social media strategies and tactics

**Qualifications**:

- MUST HAVE strong writing skills with 5+ years social media copywriting for editorial and/or brands
- Experience in Editorial, PR or Marketing preferred
- Creative thinker with a demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into social media strategies
- Exceptional writing skills with a proven ability to adapt tone based on the audience and brand objectives
- A sharp eye for the details
- Strategic mindset
- Deep knowledge of social media trends, hashtags, and engagement strategy
- Ability to work with creative tools like Adobe and Canva
- Ability to incorporate our brand voice and identity in digital content
- Ability to create content that is engaging and successful across channels and audiences
- Highly-organized self-starter who can balance multiple priorities and drive results
- Accountable and deadline-driven team player
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
