We are looking for a Content Specialist to join our fast-paced marketing team. If you have a passion for creating a unique and valuable customer experience, a keen eye for the Oxford Comma, and an interest in expanding your knowledge of the industrial combustion world, then this position is for you
As Content Specialist, you will be responsible for creating captivating content that not only engages our audience but also ranks well on search engines. With your creative flair, analytical mindset, and strategic approach, you will develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy to drive our sales and marketing objectives.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement a content marketing strategy that aligns with the company’s objectives and target audience.
- Create dynamic, targeted campaigns that utilize account-based marketing initiatives and demonstrate alignment across platforms.
- Conduct ongoing market research, keyword research, and competitor analysis.
- Utilize SEO best practices to conduct ongoing market, keyword, and competitor research and analysis to influence the content calendar.
- Collaborate with Sales, Service, R&D and Executive Leadership teams to create effective collateral that follows our brand voice.
- Monitor and report on content and campaign performance, SEO insights and industry trends to improve and refine content.
- Create and utilize audience personas throughout content creation to foster customer relationships and provide personalized experiences that resonate.
**Job Qualifications**:
- Exceptional attention to detail with a love for the English language.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Strategic thinker with exceptional problem-solving abilities, and experience in the B2B environment.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform marketing decisions.
- Self-starter who can work independently with mínimal oversight in the creative process.
- Effectively work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple projects simultaneously.
- Great communicator and teammate.
**Job Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in copywriting.
- 2+ years of experience in content marketing.
- 2+ years of experience in editorial calendar and content strategy.
- Outstanding English language writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of SEO/SEM, search engine algorithms and ranking factors, Google Analytics, and Keyword research.
- Strong attention to detail and fact-checking.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
- Exceptional organization skills and ability to track multiple projects at once.
- Keen eye for detail.
- Knowledge of Adobe Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, is an asset.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365, including Word, PPT, Excel, and SharePoint
- Familiarity with HubSpot CRM, Jasper AI, and ClickUp is an asset.
