Middleware Administrator

**Role: Middleware Administrator**

**Job Location: Toronto, ON**

**Duration: Full Time**

Knowledge of SSL/TLS, A10/F5 load balancer, Key Factor, Ansible, Splunk
- Over 5 years of experience in enterprise-level web-hosting and/or load balancing environment
- Deep understanding of Apache, Tomcat web hosting product
- Deep understanding of security protocols, e.g. TLS, SSL cert, authentication and authorization
- Strong knowledge of WebSphere, Light streamer and load balancing
- Strong knowledge internet and networking protocols, including TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS ? Comfortable with system administration of Linux
- Familiar with at least one scripting language: Perl, Python, PowerShell, Shell
- Knowledge of ITIL (change management, incident management, and problem management)
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and high pressure situations for outage handling, management or resolution
- Effective communication with various user groups (developers, engineers) as well as remote team members
- Drive to learn about new technologies, techniques and what it takes to be an integral member of this team

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Drive encryption on transition project
- Solving self-service tooling issueoUser training and consultation
- Schedule central driven site encryption events
- Write scripts or Ansible playbook to automate the runbook
- Address L2 escalation during the central driven site encryption events
- Generate Splunk dashboard to report the progress and status
- Support web hosting products
- Solving self-service tooling issues
- Troubleshoot Apache/Tomcat/Lightstreamer/Websphere instance problems that is escalated by L2
- Address L2 escalations, Incident management and Problem management
- Process improvement, automation, scripting
- Writing technical documentation, providing training to users"

**Salary**: $61,975.25-$128,698.63 per year
