**About the Opportunity**

Reporting to the Health Services Manager and Clinical Director, the Psychologist is a member of the interdisciplinary team providing services to adults and their families.

**About You**

**Doctoral degree from a recognized, accredited program in Clinical Psychology**
Registered or eligible for registration with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners (NSBEP)
**Minimum of two years related clinical experience**
Advanced psychotherapy skills and training in ISTDP
**Competency in the use of psychological testing in the area of adult mental health**
Demonstrated experience conducting both individual and group psychotherapy, including brief therapy
**Demonstrated experience in development of group psychotherapy programs**
Knowledge and understanding of the Diagnostic & Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders
**Ability to reach a joint formulation with the client and family**
Excellent communication skills
**Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team setting**
Previous experience working in adult outpatient mental health preferred
**Demonstrated ability and comfort in working flexibly and creatively to provide services**
Awareness of local community resources and agencies would be considered an asset
**Valid Nova Scotia Driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle**
Competencies in other languages preferred; French an asset

**Hours**
- Permanent, Part Time (50%); 37.5 hours bi-weekly

**Compensation and Incentives**

$50.19 - $62.74 hourly
