Warehouse Cleaner

We are looking for **Warehouse Cleaner** to join our team in **FreshPoint Nanaimo.**

The **Warehouse Cleaner **will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the warehouse and office areas. This includes deep cleaning of equipment, sanitation of office desks, lunch rooms and other employee areas, and garbage disposal and cardboard box management.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct deep cleaning procedures on equipment
- Accurate record keeping of daily duties
- Daily sweeping and mopping of floor areas to ensure a clean work environment
- Remove garbage, compact cardboard boxes
- Ensure janitorial supply and storage area is clean and well organized
- Handle sanitation chemicals in a safe manner and ensure compliance to Company SOPs
- Maintain, sanitize and clean office areas and lunch rooms
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications and Job Requirements**:

- Completion of high school diploma
- Previous experience working in sanitation or a janitorial role preferred
- GMP, WHMIS or Sanitation certification an asset
- Good communication skills and ability to read and comprehend Company SOPs, policies and safety requirements
- Self-motivated, organized and ability to work independently and in a team dynamic

**Location**:4911 Wellington Road, Nanaimo, BC V9T 2H5. This role is required to work onsite.

**Working Hours**:

- Monday to Friday 7am - 3:30pm
