Intermediate Planner

**Intermediate Planner Job Description**

AVM Development Inc. is group of companies involved in various land development projects across the GTA and the Province of Ontario.

Planner
- University degree in urban planning, geography or equivalent
- Approximately 3-4 years of progressive experience in the Planning field.
- Good understanding of the Ontario planning system and legislation including the Planning Act, provincial/municipal planning policies, plans and guidelines.
- Experience with Committee of Adjustment, Committee and Council public meeting presentations and ability to present at such meetings in the evenings, as required.
- Ability to perform tasks independently..
- Interaction with clients, consultants, and municipal staff on a variety of projects.
- Assist in the daily activities of numerous files with other staff members.
- Excellent communication skills (Oral & Written)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $69,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
