Caledon Mountain Veterinary Hospital (CMVH) is a privately owned small animal and surgical referral practice located in Caledon Village, ON, (approximately 20 minutes north of Brampton). We have a great team who take a lot of pride in their work practicing progressive medicine through a combination of cutting edge technology along with gentle and respectful handling of our patients.

We are looking for a full-time Client Care Representative to join our team who is friendly, loves multi-tasking, is easy-going and loves interacting with clients. Being a team player and being able to work independently are equally important. As the face of Caledon Mountain Veterinary Hospital, the Client Care Representative (CCR) team sets the tone for the practice as we build and maintain trustworthy relationships with our clients and their pets. The CCR team combines customer service with problem solving skills to develop and maintain these relationships. The Client Care Representative (CCR) team is a very important part of daily hospital operations, being the first and last people our clients interact with when visiting the hospital. While this position does not have clinical duties, the CCR team works hand-in-hand with the Veterinarians, Registered Veterinary Technicians, and Veterinary Assistants each day. We are a "high touch" hospital with a "how can we help" attitude. Answering phones and scheduling appointments is a large part of the job.

**Job Requirements**
- We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and customer service oriented.
- Previous veterinary clinic experience or experience assisting clients in a customer service business.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong command of the English language both written and oral.
- Strong typing skills, and experience working in a Windows environment.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Have the physical strength and ability to lift up to 35lbs unassisted

**Expected duties for this role may include but are not limited to**
- Managing large amounts of incoming phone calls to identify and assess clients needs.
- Identifying and assessing clients' needs to achieve satisfaction.
- Building sustainable relationships and trust with clients through open and interactive communication.
- Providing accurate, valid and complete information.
- Handling minor customer concerns, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives. Follow up to ensure resolution.
- Keeping records of customer interactions, processing customer accounts and filing documents.
- Following communication procedures, guidelines and policies.
- Going the extra mile to engage clients

**Schedule**

Your typical schedule would be 36-40 hours per week and would include a rotation of Saturdays with the rest of our Client Care team.
