**Pipe Layer / Grade Foreman**

Brodsky Construction is seeking an experienced Pipe Layer / Grade Foreman. Wage will depend on experience.

Responsibilities include:

- Directing and participating in culvert installations
- Pipe laying, manhole and valve installations
- Grade checking and guidance of heavy equipment for installation of underground water and sewer pipe
- Staking and guidance of heavy equipment for earth work projects (roads, lagoons, landfills etc.)
- Using hand compaction equipment (jumping jacks, plate tampers etc.)
- Taking part in labour duties involved with all of the above tasks
- Operation of heavy equipment as required (packer, skid steer, loader, etc.)

**Requirements**:

- Must be driven to excel in your position, and improve every day.
- 5 years experience in sewer and water / earthmoving construction.
- Physically fit.
- Experience using survey equipment (survey levels, laser levels, hand levels, GPS)
- Experience reading and understanding all types of construction stakes
- Experience reading and understanding project drawings and plans
- Understanding of basic math and ability to perform calculations quickly
- Own transportation.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willing to work away from home.
- Willing to work 60+ hours per week
- Willing to work weekends and holidays
- Possession of current safety tickets (first aid, TDG etc.) will be considered an asset. Please include copies of any certificates with resume.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $27.00-$35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
