**Summary**

The incumbent is responsible for all aspects of the Painter/Blaster requirements.

**Responsibility**

**Blaster**
- Perform sandblasting/Glass bead operations on parts and frames according to work instructions and department procedures to achieve desired results.
- Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and always use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Use hand tools and power tools as required.
- Clean and maintain equipment and work area.
- Do routine maintenance on as required by the equipment manufacturer.
- Inspect surface (Profile monitor) after blasting to ensure thorough and uniform preparation for next operation (Painting, Etc.).
- Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
- All other duties as requested or assigned.

**Painter**
- Perform painting operation on fabricated parts and frames according to work instructions and department procedures to achieve desired results.
- Select appropriate paint according to paint procedures and specifications.
- Operate, clean, and maintain paint shop equipment.
- Ensure proper storage and disposal of hazardous paint, thinners and other chemicals used in the paint shop.
- Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and always use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Clean and Maintain equipment and work area.
- Inspect all painted surfaces for proper paint thickness and profile by using measuring instruments.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
- All other duties as requested or assigned.

**Qualifications & Experience.**
- Previous experience in industrial blasting /painting related field.
- Knowledge of blasting /painting equipment set up and maintenance.
- Ability work independently or as a team.
- Knowledge of different paints, primers, and coatings.
- As person you are Safety oriented, punctual and pays attention to detail.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $26.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
