**Parkview Services for Seniors is comprised of three Ontario Non-Profit Corporations.**

**Parkview Home** prides itself in its excellent care and staff commitment to our Residents and their unique needs. Parkview Home is a 128 bed fully Accredited Long-Term Care Home operating under the Long-Term Care Homes Act 2007 regulations. The Home has been owned and operated by The Mennonite Home Association of York County for more than fifty years.

**The Parkview Village Retirement Community Association of York Region** is a 124 unit rental apartment building which provides for independent living along with a variety of supportive services in collaboration with care partners.

**The Parkview Village Cluster Homes for Seniors Association of York Region** was formed to provide an independent living environment under a life lease model.

**Unit Clerk**

Seeking a highly organized individual to manage patient records and supply orders. Must be able to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced ever-changing environment. Must adhere to health protocols and patient confidentiality. You ensure that all records are up to date and order supplies.

**Requirements**:

- Lifting, bending, and walking
- Vaccines x2
- Must be proficient using word processing software, creating spreadsheets, using printers and other work-related equipment, or looking up information related to.
- Must be able to manage and keep track of expenditures using various platforms.
- Must have effective verbal and written English communication skills.
- Satisfactory attendance record required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Organizing files, such as lab results, imaging results, doctor’s orders, etc., in its respective patient medical record binder.
- Ensuring that the records are signed by the doctor, to confirm that it has been read, and faxed to the pharmacy, when it comes to medications and the doctor’s orders.
- Removing old files in the patient’s binder and transferring them into the archives for filing.
- Filing and organizing deceased patient’s records in the archives for easy access and retrieval.
- Checking unit supplies, anticipating inventory requirements, placing orders, and overseeing receipt of the supplies.
- Organizing and arranging deliveries in the nursing supply room to make supplies accessible.
- Ensuring the smooth operation of the unit by adhering to policies and procedures and reporting on changes that must be made.
- Maintaining a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to infection-control regulations.
- Incontinence product ordering and delivery
- Resident care item ordering and delivery
- Reporting to assistant director of care.
- Other duties as assigned

**Salary**: $18.36-$22.28 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
