The Driver is responsible for ensuring daily product deliveries to local restaurants, retail stores, wholesale distributors, and major grocery chain customers are done accurately, timely, and in a safe and efficient manner. The incumbent is also responsible for ensuring daily vehicle checks are carried out according to the checklist provided.

**Job Duties**
- Receives products from the warehouse and verifies correct quantity before loading onto the truck.
- Ensures products are properly loaded onto trucks and cold chain is maintained at all times
- Plans and ensures timely deliveries according to daily routing.
- Ensures customer orders are picked up accurately and delivered on time.
- Provides courteous customer service.
- Ensures customers acknowledge receipt of products by signing off properly.
- Ensure proper handover of all delivery notes and returned to the Warehouse department.
- Operates company vehicles safely and in accordance with the motor vehicle safety regulations.
- Ensure truck is cleaned at the end of shift according to HACCP checklist.
- Reports any discrepancies while operating the vehicle, during pre-trip inspection & other circumstances where operating safety and/or public safety is a concern.

**Requirements**:

- Class 3 Driver’s License - 3 + air endorsement or class 1 (air included)
- Drive a 10-ton tandem rear axle delivery truck with air brakes
- May require driving smaller 5-ton trucks depending on business needs
- Good verbal and written English language skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Self-starter
- Detail-oriented and ability to work well under pressure and with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs

**Work Conditions**
- Permanent Full-time position (40 hours per week)
- Work is performed outdoor and indoor as per the job requirement
- Flexible hours including nights, weekends, overtime, and holidays as required to meet business needs
- Wearing of company provided Uniform and other Personal Protective Equipment is required as applicable
