A Marketing Coordinator is an important part of Sproing’s Marketing Team. A Marketing Coordinator must have a passion for providing outstanding customer service, an interest in learning new technologies and marketing concepts and be a committed team player. An interest or passion in all things related to social media, digital advertising, SEO and content management is a must.

A Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing all marketing activities such as marketing strategies, social media accounts, digital ad campaigns and various SEO tasks. Additionally, this role is required to provide exemplary customer service to our clients in a timely and professional manner.

**Job Duties/Tasks/Responsibilities**
- Content development for clients and Sproing’s marketing initiatives
- Assist with the preparation of project proposals, budgets and schedules for projects
- Participate and potentially lead in the creation of marketing and content strategies
- Implementation of strategies as well as being responsible for measuring and reporting on the results
- Communicating to the marketing lead and project managers on project budgets, schedules, processes and quality control of all deliverables
- Complete other marketing tasks as requested by Marketing Lead or Sproing’s CM

**Digital Marketing Job Duties**:

- Develop, create and implement digital campaigns across a variety of platforms
- Includes keyword research, audience targeting set up and building the structure for the campaign
- Includes content development for the ads including text and images
- Monitoring and reporting on an ongoing basis on all digital campaigns and website analytics
- Presenting technical reports to clients and explaining the performance on an ongoing basis
- Managing PPC budgets to ensure clients' expectations are met
- Ongoing management of digital campaigns including but not limited to adjusting keywords, creating new ads on a regular basis and communicating with the client in a responsive manner (via online, phone calls and face to face)
- Ensuring all marketing accounts are branded consistently

**SEO Job Duties**:

- SEO strategizing and benchmarking, including but not limited to reviewing and analyzing client sites for areas that can be improved and optimized
- Working with the tech team to ensure all Sproing created websites are properly set up and optimized for SEO
- Ongoing optimization, monitoring and reporting of offsite and onsite content, competitors, keywords, Google Business Listings, and link building
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
- Keeping updated on both white hat and black hat SEO strategies to stay within search engine guidelines
- Familiarization with Google Analytics, Google Business Listings, Moz and WordPress
- Presentation of SEO reports and recommendations to clients

**Social Media Management Job Duties**:

- Managing Sproing and client accounts social media accounts across a variety of platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
- Ongoing content development of posts and ensure they are scheduled and delivered on the platforms
- Social Media strategies and research for a variety of different industries and businesses
- Ongoing engagement, responding to comments and messages on Sproing and our client’s behalf in a timely manner
- Familiarization with Social Media tools (Hubspot, Sprout Social, Adobe Spark, etc.)
- Reporting on social media activity, providing recommendations for improvement and implementing those recommendations

**Content Development Job Duties**:

- Content development may include everything from writing blogs, newsletters or website content to supporting proposal writing and content strategies
- Ensure content is optimized for search engines and follows a strategic plan
- Source not only textual content but also visual content for blogs, newsletters, websites, etc.
- Provide content support by reviewing websites, proposals and other written materials

- Strong competency/proficiency with online marketing tools and platforms such as:

- MailChimp
- Hubspot
- Google Ads
- Google Analytics
- Google Tag Manager
- Google Business Listing
- Facebook Business Manager
- Sprout Social
- Moz
- Completed Google and Facebook ad certifications are an asset but not required
- Marketing research and strategizing
- Understanding of market research concepts and methodologies
- An ability to develop and manage content for various mediums
- Experience with search engine optimization and keyword research
- Experience managing PPC campaig
