**Job Description for FIRE SUPPRESSION TECHNICIAN/Apprentice**

**Tremblay Fire Solutions Ltd. is a fire and life safety company that provides sales, installation, maintenance, and service for both contractual and commercial businesses. We have technicians licensed in fire alarm, sprinkler, fire suppression, emergency and exit light and portable extinguishers. Tremblay Fire Solutions Ltd.**

We are expanding our Fire Suppression Division due to continued growth.

**Responsibilities/Job Details**

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- **Installation**

Commercial Kitchens, paint booths and vehicle suppression systems - including pipe runs, threading, cutting

**Inspections**

Annual and semi-annual inspections of fire suppression systems, emergency lighting, and fire extinguishers and hose cabinets according to NFPA and ULC guidelines.
- **Maintenance**

Attend to service calls and maintain equipment according to manufacturer’s instructions.
- **Reports**

Complete required reports for Service or Maintenance, thoroughly and legibly
- **Team Player**

Ability to work with fellow team members to ensure work is completed according to manufacturer guidelines.

Systems include Ansul/Pyrochem/Rangeguard/Kidde/Buckeye/Guardian & Amerex

**We are looking for an individual who has**:

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience
- Mechanically inclined
- Willingness to learn and accept constructive criticism
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft
- Outlook, Word, Excel
- Problem Solving Skills
- Ability to work with various personality types (Customers and Team members)
- Maintains a neat and tidy appearance
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
- Physically fit, and capable of performing all duties in a safe and professional manner

Tremblay Fire Solutions Ltd. offers an excellent Remuneration Package that includes:

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
