Position Overview
We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a junior Technical Project Manager to join our team at Nasdaq, Calypso, Axiom. If you are passionate about FinTech a project management, we invite you to be a part of our innovative and forward-thinking organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Plans, monitors and manages projects from initiation through to completion.
- Manages projects to ensure it meets the business requirements, internal or external stakeholders are satisfied and it meets the project plans obligations regarding specifications, quality, costs and timeframes.
- Develops and maintains automation workflows in Atlassian JIRA, develop plugins to extend JIRA capabilities, make dashboards for JIRA Connect add-ons, configure custom fields, support JIRA configurations.
- Other duties include upgrading and enhancing JIRA projects, defining and executing SDLC tasks, and documenting and maintaining the SDLC.
- Organizes and utilizes resources and coordinates effectively with stakeholders and colleagues.
- Meets the project plans obligations regarding specifications, quality, costs and timeframes.
- Meets project deadlines through developing effective relationships in order to get things done.
- Utilizes project management methodology when managing projects.
- Works under limited supervision to manage projects around systems integration, or product development enhancements.
- Assisting in creating specifications, development, testing and documentation of Business Intelligence Solutions within projects.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of API development experience with Python and JSON; Jira and Jira Align API experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework methodology and best practices.
- Comfort working in a matrix organization, and with cross-cultural international teams.
- Education Required: Degree qualified in Computer Science, Business/Finance or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Special Qualifications, knowledge within:
- SQL Server, SQL (queries, views, stored procedures, etc.)
- BI tools suits, like: Business Objects, BOBj, Microsoft BI, Cognos
- Development of complex dashboards and reports
