As a Customer Service Specialist, you’ll be the first point of contact for our patients, helping set the tone for an outstanding experience from the moment they walk through our doors or call in. You’ll be essential in managing patient interactions, supporting clinic operations, and assisting with light cleaning and basic bookkeeping duties to ensure a seamless, welcoming environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Communication**: Answer incoming calls with professionalism and warmth, assist with inquiries, schedule appointments, and provide detailed information about our services and treatments.
- **Booking and Scheduling**: Efficiently manage appointment bookings, patient check-ins, and follow-ups. Coordinate schedules to ensure optimal flow and mínimal patient wait times.
- **Direct Billing & Insurance Coordination**: Facilitate direct billing for patients, including handling insurance claims, verifying coverage, and providing detailed information to patients about their insurance options.
- **Marketing & Networking**: Collaborate with the team to support marketing efforts, including social media engagement, event coordination, and community networking to strengthen our clinic’s presence.
- **Light Cleaning & Clinic Upkeep**: Perform light cleaning duties to ensure that the clinic is tidy and inviting, including waiting area maintenance and sanitizing common surfaces.
- **Bookkeeping Support**: Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as processing payments, tracking patient accounts, and supporting financial record-keeping.
- **Patient Relationship Building**: Foster positive, lasting relationships with patients by maintaining a friendly and supportive environment. Address concerns and follow up with patients to ensure satisfaction.
- **Administrative Support**: Perform general administrative duties such as patient record management, filing, and assisting the team with additional tasks to keep the clinic running smoothly.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare or wellness setting.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping and billing processes (training provided if needed).
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in scheduling software and insurance billing processes (training provided if needed).
- Friendly, compassionate, and patient-centered approach to care.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
