**Job Summary**

Liberty Tax Winnipeg Downtown Office is now hiring income tax preparer for the 2023 tax filing season.

Entry level - experience or related training required.
Must go through income tax rapid training if no experience.
- Roled as receptionist and entry level tax preparer.
- Fully communicates to client the procedures, paperwork, and timeframes applicable to the service being provided.
- Accurately prepares all paperwork and completes all required data entry according to office policy and procedure.

**Requirements**:

- Self-confident, professional, friendly and courteous.
- Income tax related background, certificates and diplomas in accounting preferred.

**Duties**:

- Answers phone calls, schedules appointments, prepares basic tax returns, fulfills related office administrative tasks.
- Thoroughly explains the appropriate procedure and flow of the client's chosen service and the benefits of each service offered.
- Correctly completes all applicable paperwork for client’s chosen service.
- Increases tax knowledge continuously.

Posted as seasonal position but it could lead to permanent position after the season.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: $13.50-$16.00 per hour
