EmployAbilities Lakeland Employment Services Program is looking to hire 1 permanent full time Employment Facilitator position supporting Lac La Biche, AB.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Demonstrate Agency Values**: Uphold compassion, collaboration, innovation, integrity, and inclusiveness.

**Intake and Assessment**:

- Assess client needs and suitability for Agency programs.
- Provide referrals to alternative programs and support services.
- Assist in developing tailored service plans and maintain accurate documentation.

**Case Management**:

- Create and monitor client action plans.
- Assist in accessing interventions and provide follow-up support.
- Maintain case management files and documentation.

**Facilitation**:

- Deliver one-on-one and group workshops.
- Develop instructional materials and adapt curriculum.
- Assist with technology needs as required.

**Employment Counselling**:

- Utilize career development theory to help identify career goals.
- Provide one-to-one counseling and support job search efforts.
- Develop resumes, conduct mock interviews, and track progress.

**Employment Development**:

- Research employer relationships and local labor market conditions.
- Match client skills with available job opportunities and facilitate placements.
- Conduct employer follow-up and coordinate work site visits.

**Community Involvement**:

- Promote Agency services through networking and community events.
- Collaborate with partners and promote employment support services to potential employers.

**Workplace Environment**:

- Manage data entry and conduct virtual client meetings.
- Conduct employer visits and provide coverage at the employment center as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree, Diploma, or relevant certificate.
- Residency in Lac La Biche and familiarity with local employers are essential.
- 2 years of experience in related fields preferred.
- Previous experience with at-risk populations preferred.
- Clear criminal record check required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Equivalency: Additional directly related experience may be considered in lieu of education on a one-for-one basis.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00 per year
