Position Title**:Clerk 3 (ADM04)**
**Job Description**:
Description Under minimum supervision of the Supervisor of Support Services, this position is the initial contact person for the Dartmouth Office, Public Prosecution Service. This individual must assess the needs and determine the urgency of all requests that are presented by the visiting and calling public, witnesses, accused and victims, as well as the members of the legal community. The Public Prosecution Services offices are frequently presented with irate, distraught and aggressive individuals. This position is responsible to handle these situations in a calm and professional manner, thereby attempting to diffuse emotional situations and offer support as necessary, to be able to recognize potentially dangerous situations and to act upon them accordingly. This position also performs a number of administrative duties within the office. Requirements Grade XI plus four years’ experience or equivalent combination of training and experience.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week
**Salary**: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Scotia, CA: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)
