Bartender

**Job brief**

We are looking for an enthusiastic Bartender to provide an excellent experience for members and guests. Minimum 20 hours/week (3-7pm Tuesday to Saturday) with additional evening hours depending on events. Compensation includes salary and tips.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Responsible for cash and exchange of money
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food, beverage and lottery regulations
- Responsible for the security of the building, including closing the building after a shift

**Requirements and skills**
- Must hold valid smart serve and food handler certificate
- Hold valid First Aid/CPR certificate or be willing to obtain
- Working experience as a Bartender
- Excellent knowledge of serving drinks
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant training certificate
- Have knowledge of Legion practices and procedures
- Must adhere to dress code including; black pants/slacks black, red or white blouse/shirt Shoes (no sandals or flip-flops)
- Must be able to perform tasks with mínimal supervision

**Salary**: $16.55 per hour
