AlphaBud Cannabis, or ABC co. is Toronto's premier, minority owned and female-owned, Cannabis retail store. AlphaBud was born out of a passion for the world's most amazing plant, the need to bring a new approach to Cannabis retail, and to obliterate the stigmas that have been long associated with the wonderful plant known as Cannabis. We look to reshape perceptions and notions about Cannabis through an educational approach based on responsible and purposeful use and offer a carefully curated, and immersive experience in a comfortable, high end-setting.

**Job description**

At AlphaBud Cannabis we represent “The Alpha in all things Cannabis”, and are looking for a few more amazing individuals that can live up to that mantra. An AlphaBud Cannasseur is a pivotal role within our organization, and is more than just someone who takes, and fulfills customer orders. An AlphaBud Cannasseur is super passionate and knowledgeable about Cannabis and Cannabis Culture, and equally as much about sharing that passion and knowledge with others. An AlphaBud Cannasseur would not only be an ambassador and advocate for Cannabis and Cannabis Culture, but also for our brand, inside and outside of the store. They are the cornerstone, and the face of our store, and are pivotal to how we are perceived, and the overall customer experience.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Suggesting suitable cannabis products to customers based on their “purpose”, preferences, budgets etc.
- Awareness of the Cannabis retail landscape, industry trends, and new cannabis products on the market
- Processing customers' payments using the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Ensuring that the store is clean and well-organized at all times.
- Educating customers on purposeful and responsible use of cannabis products.
- Verifying ID and legal age of customers at the door
- Taking inventory of cannabis products and ensuring that the sales floor is adequately stocked.
- Remain in compliance by adhering to all processes and regulatory requirements
- Being collaborative with the team in order to innovate, advance, and grow
- Responsible for meeting sales targets

**Requirements**:

- You must be at least the minimum required legal age (at least 19 years old) and be able to provide a criminal background check prior to employment.
- Previous customer service experience in a retail environment is an asset
- Must be CanSell certified, and certification must be current
- Proven success in offering an exceptional customer experience

**Physical Requirements**:

- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Must be able to lift, balance, and carry products up to 25 pounds.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: From $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
