**About LEAF Summer Camp**

LEAF Summer Camp is a Christian Summer Camp. The mission of LEAF is to honour God in all that we do. Through biblical principles, we seek to help children develop habits for success and pursue personal excellence. LEAF provides creative programming that integrates prayer, hands-on learning, physical activity, outings, and community service. We are seeking motivated youth that we envision to work together to provide a caring community and healthy children who will revere Christ.

**Duties**
- Supervise and support Camp Counsellors
- Monitor health of the camp and provide daily updates to Program Coordinators
- Confirm absences (phone calls home)
- Collect, file and manage records in an organized fashion online (data on children, parent, staff, and volunteer feedback forms, incident reports, expense reports, team meeting minutes, lesson plans)
- Upload photo highlights for easy parental viewing
- Purchase & submit expenses as required
- Plan weekly field trips
- Call to confirm field trips with vendors 48 hours prior to field trip anticipated date
- Print off “Need to Know” news and post on LEAF doors prior to a special event
- Shop for supplies as required
- Plan targeted agenda items and ice-breaker games for weekly staff meetings

- Previous experience working with children and youth in a camp setting is preferred.
- Reliable, committed, and hard-working
- Character of integrity
- Biblical knowledge
- Please be aware that, as this position involves caring for children, a Police Information Check and cleared child welfare is required before your first day of work. Instructions will be provided upon offer acceptance. If you are under 18, you'll sign a declaration; if over 18, you'll need to provide a satisfactory Police Information Check to the Leaf organization.
- Completion of 2 years at the University Level, preferably specializing in Education or a related field.
