Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at River Room Restaurant and Conference Center. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to our restaurant's recipes and standards. Your expertise in food preparation and safety will contribute to the overall success of our kitchen operations.

**Duties**:

- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency and quality
- Monitor food stock levels and communicate any shortages to the Executive Chef
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets food safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment
- Assist with cleaning duties, such as washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items or improve existing recipes

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in the food industry as a Line Cook or similar role
- Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
