We are looking for a talented, "tech-savvy" and friendly virtual reception and intake coordinator to work with our team, providing services to USA and Canadian mental health practices. You will work from our offices in downtown Lunenburg, NS.

Applicants are expected to have:

- A friendly, engaging phone manner
- A good understanding of privacy regulations for healthcare (training provided)
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- Good organizational, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent computer skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced virtual environment
- Respect for Privacy - we work with protected health information

Previous customer service experience, especially in the healthcare arena, would be an asset.

Daily responsibilities would include:

- Recording all incoming inquiries and communications in client management system
- Calendar management
- New appointment scheduling
- Insurance verifications
- Database management
- Other administrative assistance duties as required

Work hours include Monday through Friday, 9 am through 6 pm Atlantic Time, with 1 hour break for lunch.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.50-$21.50 per hour
