**Overview**
**Duties**
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and best practices.
- Assist in the planning of menus, including daily specials, based on seasonal availability of ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety standards.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food service or restaurant industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and food handling procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Passion for cooking and creativity in meal preparation.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
