**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a PhD student to contribute to a new project of research at the Centre for Engineering in Society (CES). The project focuses on the gender gap in the academic context in the era of technology and innovation.

This position reports to the project of Dr. Ghada Touir, Part-time professor in the Department Centre for Engineering in Society (CES) at Concordia University.

The general mandate is for the research assistant to support a variety of key tasks required to do this research project. These include support in compiling information, conducting a literature review and collecting data, as well as analysis and preparing paper for publication.

**Qualifications & Desired Qualities**:
PhD student familiar with engineering context and the Centre for Engineering in Society (CES) program have taken one or two courses at the CES program preferred.
- Experience in conducting literature reviews and case study analyses across different knowledge systems
- Interest and good skills in qualitative and quantitative research
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with ability to multitask
- Excellent writing and synthesis skills in English, bilingual French and English preferred
- Ability to be autonomous
