**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
As an Assistant Manager of Regulatory Compliance, where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to regulations set forth by government departments such as Health Canada, Environment Canada, and Transport Canada As a trusted guide, you will be at the forefront of our dedication to compliance, offering precision and timeliness in support to all collaborators. You will provide key support to Compliance Leadership to keep informed of non-compliances, capture and present data as the need arises by regulators, and maintain compliance program integrity

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**:

- Support with the Development & implementation of comprehensive compliance programs, policies, and procedures in alignment with applicable laws, regulations, and government guidelines.
- Stay up to date with federal, provincial, and municipal laws, regulations, and standards relevant to various government departments.
- Communicate to internal and external partners non-compliances and ensure remediation as per company policy.
- Maintain concise tracking and reporting compliance metrics, incidents, and remediation actions for senior management and relevant authorities.
- Prepare comprehensive compliance reports and documentation to support Compliance leadership in demonstrating adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Ability to analyze data sets and derive and write insights to drive a continuous improvement mentality to optimize processes.
- Lead and maintain US led sku assortment to ensure compliance for import into Canada, update database and attributes accordingly.
- Regularly review omni sku assortment databases for compliance integrity
- Supervise compliance activities, identify potential issues, and proactively address them through regular compliance audits and assessments to evaluate the efficiency of existing programs to minimize risk, recommend improvements, and ensure adherence to established guidelines.

**WHAT YOU’LL BRING**:

- 3-5 years of recent, applicable work experience.
- You have a basic understanding of compliance principles, frameworks, and risk management concepts and have a familiarity with compliance-related technologies
- You bring Strong interpersonal and time management skills, along with verbal and written communication skills
- You're able to convey sophisticated compliance concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficiency with MS Office, advanced Excel skills
- Strive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Are a natural problem solver, have analytical skills, and strong numbers proficiency.
- Ability to work varying hours/days based on the needs of the business.
- Integrity and discretion in handling sensitive compliance information, with a dedication to maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct and confidentiality.
