**ROLE: Healthcare Equipment Technician Trainee**

**WORK**:Custom design and fabrication and healthcare equipment

Design, tool, machine and fabrication skills and experience are welcome, but we may be willing to train someone with mínimal skills but with the right work attitude and strong aptitude to learn.

**NEEDED**:

- clear communication in spoken and written English
- Canadian citizenship
- workshop experience or strong motivation to learn tool and machine skills
- team player to support our long-term employees
- typing and computer skills
- detail-oriented record keeping
- ability to learn medical information
- creative ability to make things to fit individual clients
- ability learn accurate technical specification of complex equipment
- willingness to help with other shop duties as required
- valid driver's licence

- electronics knowledge
- shipping and receiving
- quotation and purchasing
- welding and fabricating
- spray booth

**ABOUT US**:
We are a small but expanding company near Skytrain in New Westminster. We are open from 8:30 to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

**COMPENSATION**:
Compensation is commensurate with your education, experience and aptitude. We would normally start training a new person at $50k to $60k, depending on qualifications and experience. There is good upward potential as you grow with us. Health plan is included. It’s a dynamic and rewarding industry - let’s have a conversation
