Reading Gate Burnaby is seeking an experienced and qualified individual that can teach English at an Elementary, Secondary and Adult English level. Instructors would be teaching various skills in English such as speaking, reading, writing, listening and grammar. English classes are taught to ESL/EFL learners and classes start in the morning, afternoon and after school. Classes run from 1 hour to 2 hours and class sizes range from 1-to-1 and up to 4 students. We are looking for an individual who values education and enjoys working with others. The individual should be proficient in English and know the topics that they are teaching.

This position is part-time and availability must be open Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 8 pm. While you are not scheduled for the entire day, the more open your availability the better.

**Job Duties**
- Teach provided class materials
- Mark student classwork and homework and provide feedback
- Assign homework

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**
- Must be comfortable working with children, teens and adults.
- Must be proficient English (written and oral).
- Must have at least a Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience working with children or tutoring is not needed but a benefit.
