**Status**: 1.0 FTE - 1-year contract

We are seeking a Database Administrator to join our precision oncology/cancer genomics team. The multidisciplinary programs integrates basic, translational and clinical research in the field of childhood, adolescent and young adult oncology.

In this role you will be a key member of the local and national teams, working alongside team members who are experts in clinical care, genomics, biomarker analysis, pathology, biobanking, bioinformatics, drug development, clinical trials, regulatory affairs, patient advocacy, bioethics and machine learning. Together, we are building a common research platform for tissue bio-banking, disease modeling, and molecular profiling (including genomic sequencing), and novel clinical trial design that builds on and complements the expertise in hospitals and research centres across Canada.

Working under the direction of the leadership team, the Database Administrator will assist in the data curation and management for precision oncology/cancer genomics projects/programs. The Database Administrator will act as an important link between programs and sites, tracking patient documentation, tracking of cases, collecting clinical data points, performing data entry and performing continuous data quality control. This individual will play an active role in deriving, reporting and sharing data with stakeholders for manuscripts, presentations and progress reports. This position requires a proactive and action-oriented individual with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. **Here¿s What You¿ll Get To Do**:

- Oversee the organization, navigation and management of data generated from precision oncology/cancer genomics programs, ensuring accuracy, quality and consistency.
- Play a leading role in clinical data collection from medical records, and data entry. Ensure data integrity across multiple information management systems and create harmonized datasets.
- Coordinate and fulfill requests for data sharing from researchers within and outside of SickKids.
- Develop and provide continued review of corresponding standard operating procedures
- Prepare for, coordinate and participate in relevant group meetings/calls and local molecular tumour boards.
- Initiate and maintain research forms that will include documentation of consent and completion of other case report forms including clinical, demographic and biospecimen information.
