An Emergency Manager aids the emergency team and reports directly to the General Manager. This role involves proficiently planning, organizing, and managing departmental needs, including overseeing staffing requirements and optimizing processes for operational efficiency.

**Job Duties**
- Develop and oversee departmental procedures to optimize efficiency and streamline workflows
- Coordinate and manage the Emergency Crew and on-call schedule to ensure seamless coverage and response
- Supervise and evaluate the time and attendance records of technicians and laborers to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Conduct interviews and make hiring decisions to fulfill current staffing needs and maintain appropriate staffing levels
- Monitor and manage inventory of consumables and equipment to ensure proper tracking and availability
- Initiate and oversee cost control programs and procedures to optimize expenditure and enhance financial efficiency
- Supervise and ensure the upkeep of equipment, vehicles and warehouse facilities through regular monitoring and maintenance
- Supervise and maintain oversight of company-issued equipment to ensure proper usage, maintenance and accountability
- Oversee the upkeep and condition of fleet vehicles, including handling maintenance, fuel cards and repairs
- Perform job site inspections to verify that projects are adhering to quality standards, timelines, and budgets. Coordinate after-hours emergency crews and manage additional work as necessary
- Supervise all emergency documentation and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance
- Coordinate and manage orientation and training sessions for new and current employees, ensuring alignment with all industry standard certifications
- Liaise with Project Managers and Coordinators regarding job site conditions to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

**Qualifications**
- Hold post-secondary education in project or construction management
- Possess IICRC certification
- Preferably have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction, restoration or insurance
- Have at least 3 years of experience in a managerial position
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Possess experience and a deep understanding of exceptional customer service
- Valid driver’s license with clear drivers abstract
- Capable of both collaborative teamwork and independent work as required
- Demonstrated capacity to multitask effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
- Open to working flexible hours, including evenings, being on call, and weekends as necessary
- Successfully complete a criminal record check

**Physical Demands**
- Occasionally performing tasks at heights exceeding 5 feet
- Occasionally performing tasks lifting 5-50lbs
