Excavation Apprentice

The Excavation Apprentice is key member of our team, responsible over our property for cleanliness and organization, and assisting plumbers & apprentices to complete lining or replacing residential sewer lines. This is an entry to a career in excavation and a road map to getting you licensed for operating heavy equipment. You will be sent to training if needed.

**Specific Responsibilities**:

- Supporting plumbers and apprentices to complete lining or replacing residential sewer lines which may involve digging, chipping concrete, and other labour-intensive tasks.
- Prepare job sites, dig trenches, build epoxy liners, clean up debris and waste materials.
- Perform minor to non-complex service work on plumbing systems in commercial and residential environments.
- Maybe required to working from heights and confined spaces.
- Communicate problems, propose solutions, and explain billing to customers.
- Organizing tools, materials, and coordinating job activities with team members.

**Job Requirements**:

- Prior industry experienced preferred
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to operate basic hand tools necessary for the craft
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional appearance and personality
