Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Flooring Installer to join our team. As a Flooring Installer, you will be responsible for installing various types of flooring materials in commercial settings. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

**Duties**:

- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas
- Prepare subfloors by removing old flooring, leveling surfaces, and repairing any damage
- Install flooring materials such as carpet tile, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, or tile and rubber base
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete installations
- Ensure proper alignment and spacing of flooring materials
- Trim and finish edges of flooring materials for a clean and professional look
- Inspect completed installations for quality and accuracy

**Skills**:

- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting floor plans
- Strong maintenance person skills with the ability to use a variety of hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of different flooring materials and installation techniques, including tile laying
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards
- Strong problem-solving skills to address any issues or challenges during installations
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills to interact with clients and address any questions or concerns

**Salary**: $27.00-$30.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- flooring installation: 7 years (preferred)
