Housekeeping Supervisor

**Housekeeping Supervisor, Full time**

We are looking to hire a housekeeper to take ownership of all things related to housekeeping at a small inn. You will be responsible for training and supervising casual and part-time cleaners, as well as cleaning rooms and common areas, disposing of trash, changing beds, and notifying maintenance of any issues. Beginning on a part-time basis (10-20 hours per week) is possible, though full-time is preferred. This role ideally would be Wed
- Sun, 8 hrs per day, day shifts mostly, with occasionally longer days for special events.

**Housekeeper Responsibilities**:

- Keep facilities and common areas clean and maintained
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
- Clean and stock restrooms
- Create and maintain cleaning check lists, order supplies, general admin
- Clean up spills with appropriate equipment
- Notify managers of necessary repairs
- Collect and disposing of trash
- Assist guests with any requests
- Keeping the linen room stocked
- Properly clean upholstered furniture

**Housekeeper Requirements**:

- Ability to manage your time efficiently
- Extreme attention to detail
- Ability to take on the challenge of providing 'unreasonable hospitality'
- Willingness to take ownership and responsibility for their sphere of work
- Ability to cultivate professional, positive interaction with guests and colleagues
- Work well unsupervised
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
- Handle basic maintenance and cleaning
- High school diploma
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with hotel guests
- Hard working

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Every Weekend
