Mould Maker

One of our client is looking for a
**Mould Maker** in
**Guelph, ON** for their service.

**Shifts**:Days and Afternoon for now

**Responsibilities**:

- To repair, improve, and maintain the plastic injection moulds.
- To support the production by completing work within the given demands of the regular production schedule.
- To perform preventive maintenance on plastic injection moulds and hot runner manifolds including disassembly, cleaning, inspection for damage or wear, repair and re-assembly.
- To fabricate mould inserts, mould components, fixture and tooling with and without engineering prints and 3-D CAD moulds using milling, turning, grinding, CNC sinker EDM and CNC milling machines.
- Verifies conformance of repaired injection moulds or related tooling to specification by checking dimension, clearances and alignments using various test equipment, consistently working to close tolerances.
- To operate overhead crane to remove and/or relocate moulds to specific workstations/areas.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum five 5 years of experience in mould making and injection moulding field as a journeyman.

**Skills**:

- Should be familiar in operating all common tool room machinery in a safe and productive manner.
- Previous injection moulding experience is an asset.
- Must be familiar with the use of CAD/CAM systems and computer systems.
- Must have technical knowledge on mould repair.
- Should have good problem-solving skills to repair tools and fixtures.
- Should be familiar with TIG welding skills.
