Psv Technician

**Rocky Mountain Valve Services is currently looking for a PSV Technician for Fox Creek.**

This position includes all aspects of service and repair of PSV’s. This position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities including adherence to quality and safety processes, procedures, training, hazard identification, documentation management and general shop/equipment maintenance & inspection activities.

**What you will be responsible for**:
*Reporting directly to the Branch Manager
*Tagging, Recording & Entering information for valves into a computer tracking system.
*Testing of valves to code and specifications ensuring compliance.
*Travelling to other branch locations to meet operational needs.
*Willing to be put into an on-call rotation.
*General PSV Repair & Service including: Initial Inspection, Pre-Test & Record, Dis-Assembly, Component Inspection,
*Reconditioning/Replacement of parts, Machining, Testing & Re-Certification and Final Inspections

**Our interest will be piqued by**:
*Have met the ABSA (AB-524) requirements for a Basic PSV Technician.
*Minimum 2 years of PSV servicing experience preferred.
*Valid Driver’s License with clean driver’s abstract required.
*The Following Tickets: First Aid, H2S Alive, confined Space Entry, eGSO, CSO current safety certificates.
*Ability to lift 50 lbs.

**Working Conditions**:
*Shop environments with potential to travel to other branches.
*Must be available during busy industry turnaround schedules.
*Very hands-on role with standing for long periods and frequent kneeling, lifting, bending daily.
*Exposure to sudden loud noises (pops/bangs), harsh cleaning chemicals (Varsol), etc.
*Steel-toed boots required. All other PPE will be provided.
*8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday to Friday, overtime and weekends as required.
*Will work into an on-call rotation schedule.
*Required to pass a pre-employment drug test as this is considered a safety sensitive position.

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
