- As per applicable collective agreement**Position Summary**:The Immunization Coordinator is responsible for facilitating the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of regional immunization programs. This Coordinator position involves supervisory responsibilities of the School Immunization Clinic Planners with the Interlake-Eastern RHA. In collaboration with Immunization Leadership team comprised of the Regional Director of Public Health, Medical Officer of Health (MOH) and the Public Health Clinical Team Manager, the Immunization Coordinator provides consultation and education to immunization providers and key community stakeholders. The Immunization Coordinator ensures that services are offered in accordance with the established provincial immunization guidelines. The position of Immunization Coordinator functions in a manner consistent with, and supports the Mission, Vision and Values of the Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority.

**Qualifications**:

- Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) and a member in good standing
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
- Completion of the Public Health Agency of Canada Immunization Modules required
- Demonstrated level of understanding of all childhood and adult immunization programs
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience in public health nursing and additional two (2) years of experience in immunization nursing role
- Experience in adult education
- Experience in program coordination
- Experience using panorama system required
- Demonstrated teaching experience using the principles of adult education
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle required
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to collate data and developing program reports for provincial immunization program
- Ability to work independently and within an interdisciplinary team required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
- Good physical and mental health to meet the demands of the position
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships in a team environment
- Ability to develop strong partnerships with internal and external partners
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Satisfactory employment record.

**As a condition of employment, all successful applicants will be required to provide a satisfactory criminal record check (with vulnerable sector screening), adult abuse and child abuse registry checks prior to commencing employment.**

All health care workers are required to be immunized as a condition of employment in accordance with the Interlake-Eastern RHA Policy (GA-13-P-110 Required Immunizations for Health Care Workers).
