As an instructor at the Commns we are looking for energetic and amazing individuals to grow with, support and inspire the community.

**The what**
- You are the vision behind your own classes, bring your experiences, ideas and creative juices
- Pitch us an idea for a signature class. Whether that be a unique spin on a specific style, series or a brand new take on what wellness means to you, we want to empower you and help execute your ideas
- You will establish and maintain an excellent rapport with your clients and community
- Be able to provide a high level of attention to your clients personal needs, meet them where they are and help them to achieve their goals. Have the ability to create modifications with client safety and wellbeing placed at the forefront.
- Provide knowledge and or participation in the offerings of The Commns.
- Provide excellent customer service to all clients, being present before and after classes.
- Create and structure your classes with variability. Have the ability to think on your feet, problem solve and modify movements as fit.
- Embody the values of The Commns.

**The how**
- Currently recognized certifications (group fitness, yoga, pilates, reformer, barre, etc.) and/or personal training certification. List of any continuing education or additional certificates as fit.
- CPR/AED certification (asset).
- Fitness instructor insurance.
- Previous instructing experience is an asset, can be discussed further as we are willing to work with you if the fit is right.
- Reliable and professional team member.
- Excellent time management and organization skills.
- Possess integrity.
- Excellent communication skills, be open and honest.
- You will be an independent contractor running your classes.

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:
