We are currently seeking a Highway Trucker for our Fergus, Ontario distribution center.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform trip inspections on equipment operated as well as load, ensuring safety and road worthiness.
- Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation, carriage of goods, driver's hours of service and occupational health and safety.
- Dedicated schedule with no weekends and home every night
- E Log Compliant
- 150 Kilometre Radius
- No Cross Border required
- Shunting required

List of Skills and Capabilities required of the person entering this position:

- Driver’s license G and AZ license
- Minimum 2 years of AZ driving experience
- Experience in a Warehouse/Distribution environment
- Excellent Written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to complete paperwork accurately and on time
- Must be able to assist with unloading water heater units on deliveries
- Must have ability to interact and establish good working relations with customers
- Must have a clean driver’s abstract
- High School or equivalent is mandatory
- Transportation of dangerous Goods training an asset.

**Benefits**:

- Current rate of pay is $23.54/hour
- Automatic overtime when asked to work outside of normal scheduled shift times. Come in early/ work more than 8 hours in a day you get overtime pay.
