Responsible for supervising the manufacturing and installation of computer or computer-related equipment and components.

**Major Job Duties**:

- Test and image desktops and laptops.
- Maintain, analyse, and troubleshoot, software and computer peripherals.
- Ability to setup, configure and add all hardware.
- Assist Corporate Desk Side Support technicians with large IMAC?s.
- Assure that all tickets requiring follow up work and/or calls receive appropriate attention.
- Provide technical support to end users via telephone.
- Back up and burn end user data.
- Assist in developing and documenting improvements to current processes.
- Assist coworkers in resolution of end users? technical issues.
- Assist coworkers in the execution of established processes and escalations.
- Test, image and clean PC? s, laptop, monitors, printers, and other related hardware.

**Education/Experience**:

- High School Diploma or GED required. 2 to 4 years of hands-on technical knowledge of laptop and desktop design and software installation required.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Possess 1 to 2 years' experience in a break/fix environment.
- Able to lift and palletize heavy equipment. (PC? s, monitors, printers.)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
- Break-Fix Technicians Service Coverage Hours - 24/7/365
- Must have PC and Tablet skills
- Must be well versed in MS Windows, MS Office
- Minimum 2 Years’ Experience
- CompTIA A+ and Network + Certification would be an asset Technical Activities
- Perform corrective maintenance and respond to Service Requests
- Troubleshoot and triage incidents on the floor; including workstations, peripherals, networking equipment and cabling
- Reset or replace equipment; including computers, displays, keyboards, printers, hand-held scanners, cables and other peripheral devices
- Clear printer jams and reload paper, ribbons, and toner if required
- Handle break/fix, configuration issues, troubleshooting, software installations, hardware repair (including in-house repair or coordinating depot services)
- IMAC Services - Install, Move, Add, Change for all above stated equipment - Mobile CUSS Kiosk repositioning
- Report updates to asset information; including asset inventory details, hardware returns, and changes in asset details such as location
- Raise tickets for Level 2/3 assistance for any discovered issue requiring additional support

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Desktop support: 4 years (preferred)
- Technical support: 4 years (preferred)
- Software troubleshooting: 4 years (preferred)
- Network installation: 4 years (preferred)
- break/fix: 4 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CompTIA A+ (preferred)
