**Operations Lead**
(_40 hours a week)_
Job Overview
Reporting to the Store Manager, the Operations Lead is responsible for planning, prioritizing, and executing the daily operations of the business (retail and inventory management) in an organized and efficient manner while maintaining and adhering to all processes and systems that maximize the team and the business results.
**Responsibilities**:
- Efficiently and accurately process incoming and outgoing shipments;
- Organize and maintain products in the store warehouse.
- Ensure the efficient reception and management of incoming e-commerce orders.
- Responsible for store maintenance requirements, creating an environment that promotes health and safety, and loss prevention requirements;
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other leads (Visual, Sales, Super-Users, etc.)
- Partners with management team to identify, communicate and take action on business opportunities;
- Efficient and accurate management of inventory:
- BOPIS - Completes orders within the expected timelines
- Damages - Completes and reports issues as per expectations
- Cycle counts - Completes daily as per company expectations and timelines to support inventory accuracy in-store including preparations for yearly inventory counts
- Supply orders - Completes monthly supply order for the store to support the daily operations of the business
- MMS/OMS/RF - Management of all communication and tools required to support inventory accuracy in-store
- Develop and share expertise as it relates to specific operational requirements: BOPIS, Cycle count, Inventory adjustment, Lcom/Ecom, Annual inventory
- Is a role model in prioritizing the customer and supporting the floor sales when required or in non-peak hours;
- Open and close the store/lead and direct the sales team on the floor based on business needs.
**Qualifications**:
- Strong leadership skills - retail management experience is an asset
- Ability to coach, mentor and develop
- Proven ability to plan
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent ability to communicate
- Ability to use computers - Familiar with Excel
- Confidence in fast-paced environments
- A driven approach to work
- A positive and outgoing attitude
- Ability to lift medium to large items/ and frequent ladder use
