**Salary**:$62,720-$65,840

**Fife House** is an innovative, client-focused provider of secure and supportive affordable housing and services to people living with HIV/AIDS in the Greater Toronto Area. With approximately 110 staff working across 6 locations, in 2020-2021 Fife House served more than 850 residents and clients by providing supportive and transitional housing programs as well outreach programs to homeless clients and their families.

Fife House is seeking a dedicated individual to fill the full-time, management position of Program Manager. The Program Manager will be responsible for the overall day-to-day operation and coordination of the Huntley Transitional Housing Program which operates on a 24 X 7 basis and serves 20 residents. The Huntley Programs deliver a transformational model of housing supports, clinical care and intensive case management supports; focused on the delivery of a client-centred model of care with an emphasis on recovery, rehabilitation, pathways to the right long-term housing and supports, harm reduction, disease prevention, chronic disease management and health promotion.

The **Program Manager** will provide direct supervision to a wide range of staff ranging from Personal Support Workers, relief staff, students, and Case Workers at 9 Huntley Street. The Program Manager will also be on a rotating schedule for on-call duties. The Program Manager is responsible for liaising and maintaining partnerships with Habitat Housing and other partnerships, as required.

**REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE**:
**Management Skills**:

- 4 or more years of proven management experience in a unionized, non-profit housing and/or support services environment
- Direct experience supervising staff, and developing and managing housing in progressively responsible positions in a not-for-profit setting
- Direct experience with performance management, specifically addressing work performance, conducting progressive discipline and probationary/annual performance reviews
- Applied financial and budget management skills
- Direct experience with developing and maintaining staffing schedules and payroll processes, approvals, etc.
- Ability to work productively within a team setting, as well as independently
- Must have ability to constructively give and receive feedback
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to implement creative solutions
- Demonstrated organizational, planning and analytical skills
- Well developed interpersonal skills that will facilitate effective, productive and appropriate relationships with the resident community, external agencies and staff of Fife House
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills
- Highly developed conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Strong computer skills - MSWord, Excel, Power Point, Internet, Outlook

**Community Engagement**
- Demonstrated experience with developing, implementing and maintaining responsive community programming for clients
- Highly developed skills using community development approaches
- Experience in working with individuals with complex mental health needs and applied understanding of harm reduction strategies
- Proven ability to work with organizations, staff and resident communities in a constructive, positive and creative way to effect better service
- Direct working experience with HIV+ homeless and under housed people; understanding of the issues of homelessness, poverty and discrimination facing this community and how these issues affect the lives of individuals

- Knowledge of HIV/AIDS within the current housing context
- Lived experience and/or knowledge of Housing and HIV/AIDS within the current context
- Lived experience and/or knowledge working with diverse and marginalized groups (e.g., 2SLGBTQIA+ community, and racialized peoples and communities)
- Developed understanding of and proven ability to communicate appropriate professional boundaries
- CPR and CIT training
- First Aid certificate
- Experience working with volunteers in a direct service setting.
