**The Position**:
**Job Title**: Customer Experience Lead (Deck Ambassador)

**Status**: Part-time (hourly) or Full-time

**Location: Mississauga - Dixie & Eglinton (close to Etobicoke and 401)**
- At British Swim School, our Customer Experience team are known as Deck Ambassadors. This is a crucial poolside role - it’s the role that manages the all-important first impression and then keeps it going by maintaining warm relationships with families and students throughout their time as a part of our extended “swim family.”

**Your Typical Responsibilities**:

- Warmly welcoming new families and getting them off to a good start - getting to know the students and their parents.
- Setting up the pool deck area before each shift.
- Registering students for class and managing them in and out of the water between classes.
- Managing and celebrating the move-up/graduation process, our birthdays, and other milestones both at the pool.
- Assisting our parents with questions they have about their schedule and the progress of their children.
- Promoting referrals for new enrollments.
- Supporting the aquatics team by being an active participant in the safety of our swimmers and assisting when needed with swimmers who need help during the lessons.
- Testing the water to ensure water quality and temperature.
- Teach swim classes as required in an emergency
- Opportunity to grow into related functions, including potentially aquatics lead, swim instructor, office manager, etc.

**What do we need from you?**

- Enthusiastic personality
- Highschool completion
- Prior experience (Part time of full time) in a customer/consumer facing role
- Strong communication skills. An enthusiastic, warm, but assertive personality who really loves talking to people and developing positive, friendly relationships.
- An understanding of the importance of sticking to a good structure
- Able to swim and/or teach swim classes as required
- The ability to multi-task and not lose your sense of fun
- Work a flexible schedule in weekdays (typically between 4.00 - 8.00 pm) and/or weekends (typically between 9.30 am-1.30 pm)

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
