Steel Building Erector

**This is a fly in
- fly out position that requires extensive travel to construction sites within Canada, for periods of 2-3 weeks at a time.**

The **Steel Building Erector** is responsible for assembling and erecting steel trusses to form the interior skeleton of a building and install the appropriate covers of a building.

The **Steel Building Erector **may also be responsible for installing electrical and mechanical portions of the building as well as installing man doors or overhead doors.

The **Steel Building Erector** will be required to use lifts, power tools and safety apparatuses.

As a member of the construction erection crew, professional representation is required at all times.

**Requirements**:

- High School diploma/GED
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Construction industry
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driver’s abstract are required
- Flexibility to travel and work on rotation
- Ability to meet Drug & Alcohol testing standards required by clients
- Ability to read and comprehend blue prints and installation instructions is an asset
- Experience in the steel framed, fabric covered building industry is an asset
