Landscape/hardscape Labourer

**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
- **Execution of Landscape Projects**: Perform various tasks related to landscape construction and maintenance, including but not limited to planting, mulching, sodding, irrigation installation, and hardscaping.
- **Site Preparation**: Prepare sites for landscaping activities by clearing debris, grading terrain, and ensuring proper drainage.
- **Equipment Operation**: Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as blowers, and small power tools in a safe and efficient manner.
- **Material Handling**: Assist in the transportation, loading, and unloading of materials, and equipment necessary for landscaping projects.
- **Hardscape Installation**: Assist in the installation of hardscape features such as retaining walls, walkways, patios, and decorative stonework.
- **Safety and Compliance**: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment and performing tasks on job sites. Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately to supervisors.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work collaboratively with other team members, including landscapers, supervisors, and contractors, to ensure efficient project execution and timely completion.
**Qualifications**:
- **Experience**: Minimum of 3 years of experience in landscaping and grounds maintenance, with a demonstrated ability to perform a variety of tasks related to landscape construction and maintenance.
- **Physical Stamina**: Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks in various weather conditions, including lifting heavy objects, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
- **Knowledge**: Solid understanding of landscaping techniques, materials, and equipment. Familiarity with hardscape installation techniques is a MUST
- **Team Player**: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Willingness to take direction from supervisors and collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals.
- **Reliability**: Punctuality, dependability, and a strong work ethic are essential. Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
- **Driver's License**: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is a MUST including own transportation to and from job sites. Experience operating trucks and trailers for hauling equipment and materials is a plus.
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Flexible Language Requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
