**Job Summary**:
The** Sales Strategy Specialist** will interact cross-functionally with our internal Sales and WIN team, our existing (or) potential new clients and our field support teams. With the ultimate knowledge base on Envision Group food service and retail solutions, resources, and strategies - they will coordinate and bring to life our retail strategy through effective writing and proposal development. The primary focus will be on collecting, creating, and developing a content library of written materials to be used in proposals. The Manager’s responsibility for managing the accuracy and effectiveness of the written content directly influences the quality of our client facing proposals.
Now, if you were to come on board as our **Sales Strategy Specialist**, we’d ask you to do the following for us:
- Work with the Senior Manager, Retention & Growth to gather information and insights for the development of a custom retail strategy for each prospective business proposal.
- Provide accurate and updated content to our WIN and Sales teams within strict timelines.
- Implement creative writing techniques for sales bids and proposals, utilizing ideas and knowledge from our existing programs and future opportunities.
- Effective storytelling and ability to write persuasively to influence client engagement.
- Coordinate the resources for the new sales and re-bid processes.
- Understand how proposed strategies support profitability and sales goals.
- Ability to communicate with senior leaders and executives clearly and comfortably.
- Superior relationship building skills to truly assess and support the customer expectation for the purpose of growth and retention.
- Be able to multitask on proposals at the same time.
- Dealing with change in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Able to travel on short notice by vehicle and air is a must.
- Must be able to work flexible hours.

- Experience with creative writing (long form content) within a business environment/setting.
- Business proposal and financial proforma experience preferred.
- High C and I profile (DISC profiling). They need to be highly organized, with attention to detail and the ability to influence while working collaboratively.
- Food industry related experience preferred.
- Demonstrated successful copywriting ability.
- Strong business acumen.
- Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills with the ability to get things done; be viewed as a trusted advisor of business leadership.
- Ability to establish contacts and credibility with senior level management decision makers.
- Demonstrated collaborative thinking, ability to build cross-functional approaches and consensus. At the same time, you need to be able to establish a unique point of view.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: a team player who can act as both a leader and an individual contributor as required.
- Confident and effective communication (written & verbal) skills.
